Is it bad when I don't focus on the setting?
I mean, I focus more around my characters, than anything.
I always fall head over heels for my characters, like my character Nymeria and her brother, King James. It's a struggle, for real.
But, if I had to describe my settings, it would be a lot like the layout of the UK, with the North being Scotland and Ireland being the "Land over the Ocean", which is where the Field People live, then the country would be divided in half with a lake and a wall, and beyond the wall, would be the South and both the North and the South have nothing in common.
It never snows, in the South. It's always 72 degrees, or above and the North, it rarely stops snowing and its always 32 degrees or below, mainly in the negatives.

Nothing too fancy, since I focus more on my characters.
In future blogs, try to provide an excerpt so your readers can "see" your settings for themselves. 10/12
